The MK1801 sofa

MK1801 draws inspiration from mineral forms, softened by water and time. Its elongated silhouette evokes the smoothness of river stones, with softened, fluid contours. The design favors continuity, low lines, and simplified volumes, shaped with a calm, balanced, and distinctly contemporary approach. The natural colour palette—stone, sand or limestone—enhances this soothing atmosphere and strengthens the link between form, material, and environment. Each element of the sofa seems to belong to an organic cycle, suspended between stillness and motion.

Flowing lines and lightweight structure

The sofa rests on slim, recessed legs that create a sense of visual lightness. This fine base lifts the structure without compromising stability. The tight, precise stitching on the seat echoes the layered strata of rock. Each detail has been carefully considered to guide the eye, drawing a shape that feels both simple and deliberate.
