The TULIP sofa
TULIP for Vilmers stands out with its graceful, curved silhouette, inspired by the natural form of a tulip petal as it begins to bloom. This soft contour creates a gentle visual presence, immediately recognisable.
Fluid volume and enveloping form
Backrest and armrests blend seamlessly into the rounded seat, forming a continuous, fluid structure. With no harsh angles or disjointed elements, the entire piece is conceived as a single, unified volume that wraps gently around the user. This design creates a cocoon-like sensation, enhanced by the consistency of lines and volume.
Soft materials and immediate comfort
The upholstery follows the curves without interruption. Material choices emphasise the soft lines and enveloping shapes. The seat has been designed to offer instant comfort. The base remains visually discreet, reinforcing the perception of an uninterrupted, cohesive volume.
Continuous expression and spatial balance
TULIP’s silhouette echoes the unfolding motion of a petal. The sofa is designed as a single line, partially closing in around the sitter. This structural approach creates both a physical and visual sense of embrace. TULIP asserts a clear and organic identity, built to fit seamlessly within open and fluid interior layouts.
